Every aspect of Tilba Farm is designed to nurture well-being, develop potential, and bring out the best in every horse- whether spelling, retraining, preparing for competition, or breeding.

At Roux Equestrian, spelling is a considered reset- never simply time off. We cater to everyone- racehorses, weanlings, yearlings colts, with each horse managed according to its stage of development and individual needs.
Set within a calm, safe environment, horses are given the space to unwind, rebalance, and truly let down. With attentive daily care and a deeply hands-on approach, they return to work relaxed, strengthened, and mentally refreshed- ready to perform.
We also offer tailored quarantine preparation for horses travelling for export to New Zealand, ensuring a smooth and low-stress transition.

Recovery is approached with patience, precision, and feel. Each rehabilitation program is thoughtfully tailored, supporting horses through injury or time away from work with quiet consistency.
Working closely with veterinarians and allied professionals, we prioritise steady, correct progress. Our environment allows horses to heal without pressure- physically and mentally- giving them the best opportunity to return to work sound, confident, and settled.

For horses stepping out of work, we offer a quiet, dignified retirement.
In safe, open paddocks, they are allowed to slow down while still receiving attentive, knowledgeable care. It’s a peaceful next chapter- where comfort, routine, and well-being remain the priority.

Our breeding program is intentionally small and considered, with select foals bred every couple of years.
We focus on quality, soundness, and temperament- combining thoughtful pairings with experienced, hands-on care from foaling through early development.
Each young horse is given the time and foundation it needs, with its long-term future always in mind.

Our coaching reflects years of experience in both teaching and judging dressage, offering a thoughtful and educated perspective.
Sessions are available on-site at Tilba Farm or off-site by arrangement. We focus on correct foundations, feel, and harmony- supporting horse and rider to develop confidence, understanding, and softness at every stage.
