" I had the pleasure of inspecting the 2023 Bay Filly by Grunt from Almerheri on 8th March 2024. She is very well grown and is an excellent shape. She possesses a good shoulder, good depth of girth and an attractive head and eye. She stands over good ground and has a good, strong hip and hindquarter. A lovely correct filly, with lovely big ears. Off the back of a recent Gr.1 victory by Grunt's son Veight, I consider this filly to be a very commercially appealing proposition."

This dynamic weanling filly is by Group 1 winning sire GRUNT (NZ) ($1,382,450), who recently celebrated his first sired Group 1 winner in Veight.

Her dam, Sydney city winning mare Almerheri ($131,986), by Al Maher, has produced an ‘impressive and imposing’ first foal. This weanling epitomises a strong, powerful horse and we’re excited about her future.

Given the feedback from two highly regarded bloodstock advisors, and to avoid stress on the horse and the additional costs involved, we will be retaining a portion of this weanling filly and offering prospective owners to get involved now.

She will be nominated for the Vobis series, where additional prize money can be obtained once she starts racing.

This filly is very correct. The power through her shoulders and hindquarters, gives her a strong, yet fluid walk.  She’s a smart filly, who learns quickly, is confident and will excel as a racehorse.
